12TH ANNUAL NC BLACKBERRY FESTIVAL
Saturday, July 13, 2013 in Downtown Lenoir - 10am - 4pm
In Caldwell County, blackberries are a part of every day life – children beg to go pick from the wild berries lining every bank and mothers take what isn’t eaten during the day for cobblers. Blackberry cobblers and jam are a strong part of local heritage. The North Carolina Blackberry Festival offers summer fun to all visitors – without the chiggers!
Lineberger Farms will be on hand during the day with fresh blackberries for sale, along with other blackberry items. Arts and crafts, a variety of food vendors will be available and local restaurants will be open. Following the Colossal Parade Brigade FREE BLACKBERRY COBBLER is available to our festival goers. Please join us….It will be a BERRY good time! For more information, call 828-726-0616.
Vendors
Vendors with handmade items are preferred, and receive lower festival fees. Commercial vendors are accepted on a limited basis and are mixed in with other vendors. Food vendor applications will be accepted until June 01, 2013. All other vendors until June 29, 2013.
